Rooms Division Manager
Tasks and responsibilities
The Rooms Division Manager is responsible for planning and managing the overall Rooms Division of the Hotel, to achieve optimal financial result as per the financial objectives and to meet / exceed hotel guest satisfaction.

  • Organizes, manages and supervises all the duties of the Rooms Division in line with operation policies.
  • Ensure that all services provided by the Hotel are of high standard and in line with the standards guideline.
  • Prepares long term, short term, monthly and annual plans for the Rooms Division department.
  • In co-operation with other department, prepares the monthly and annual budget of the Rooms Division department.
  • Monitors quality reviews and guest comments on different platforms and shares information with the team, analyzes statements related to hotel occupancy, revenue and expenditure.
  • Makes business contacts as required.
  • Investigates and eliminates causes of complaints made by guest and ensures that the issue is handled properly to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Ensures that reports, occupancy reports, daily reports, etc. are forwarded to management as per the deadline.
  • Monitors and ensures that hotel rooms and public areas are neat and clean.
  • Ensures that all financial procedures are adhered to and correct data management is ensured.
  • In cooperation with the Front Office, reviews sales generated figures related to location, rate and volume.
  • Is aware of current local situations in terms of occupancy, rate, policies and marketing strategy or other competitors, and makes consistent proposals.
  • Prepares annual capital expense budgets for Rooms Division continuously informs about occurring Capex-related maintenance or repair issues.
  • Schedules and implement job and career development training.
  • Is responsible for the performance and productivity of medium-level management, and their career opportunities.
  • Proposes leadership methods to medium-level management to maximize profit.
  • Ensure that all Rooms Division employees report for duty on time wearing smart attire and name badge at all time, in line with Hotel’s dress codes and provide a courteous and professional service at all time
Employment status

3+ years of relevant work experience in similar scope and title within luxury brand/markets – required
University/College degree in a related discipline - required
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Fluency in English required Hungarian is preferable
