Title of the position:
Information System Manager
Tasks and responsibilities
Provide service and supervision in development of
Information System environment and activities in all Company entities

  • Assure the day to day operations of the existing systems
  • Assure the availability of the IS environment and supervise IS operations
  • Responsible for IS security
  • Assures IS support for the users
  • Implement and respect the norms and rules defined by IS Corporate Division
  • Implementation and supervision of new systems or applications
  • Propose and implement technology solutions that meet the needs of the organisation and in line with corporate guidelines
  • In order to do the above, IS Manager is on close contact with the departmental heads and end users to identify the computing requirements, investigating suitable solutions, and alternatives to the executive and managers for feasibility analysis and selection
  • Agree and define the new projects with the users that are in accordance with the Company and IS global strategy and recommendations
  • Create and maintain documentation regarding the implementation and operation of new systems and applications In case of external service provider the IS Manager ensures the same proper, detailed documentation from their side
  • Organize trainings for new and existing users, in regard with new technologies and applications
  • Technology survey
  • Monitors website functionality, provides support to the EAM in website maintenance
  • When approved, by the Managing Director, managing the development and implementation of the said project including all aspects related to hardware and software selection/development and the implementation
  • Coach his team members ensuring their motivation, training and development
  • Monitor subordinates workload and performance on an on-going basis thus ensuring that individual and department level productivity, performance, in order to optimise service level
  • Conduct the annual development review with subordinates based on previously agreed clear criteria

Requirements:
Education
University degree or equivalent in relevant discipline IT
Language skills
Fluency in English and Hungarian both written and oral
Professional background
At least five years’ work experience in IT Management; with experience of the pharmaceutical industry as advantage
  • Software, hardware and network knowledge Experience in IT management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Business oriented, relative and proactive personality
  • Excellent communication, presentation and persuasion skills
  • Flexibility — to be able to adjust quickly to the new business needs
